A massive thank you to Dive Charters http://www.divegib.gi/ for all their help on the 3 dives that most of the Explorers and Leaders took part in. The Explorers and Leaders all had a fantastic time.

REALLY????????

Gibraltar has at least 5 Internet Cafes. They can be found on the Main Street, near Casemates and in the Bowling alley!!!
A massive thanks to the Gibraltar Sea Scouts for our afternoon in a power boat, canoeing, swimming and sunbathing. Peter’s head got quite a tan!

We went up the side of the Rock nearest Spain and visited the Great Siege Tunnels and Moorish Castle here are some photos:

We went to the Church of Scotland on the Sunday, followed by the Beach, Lunch or whatever suited

We had a fantastic barbecue with the Gibraltar Sea Scouts who laid on a great array of local cuisine. We met up with members of the Sea Scouts and everyone had a great time. Thanks to everyone who put together the food.

Most of the Explorers and some of the Leaders went Diving on Saturday where they had their introductory dive. They learned how to breathe under water and how to gain confidence, they have a futher 2 dives, if they wish.

The Explorers went on the Dolphin Adventure today. We left the Marina Bay at 1100 and went on a boat trip out of Gibraltar to see the Dolphins with a company called Dolphin Adventure, their website is here where you can find out more about it www.dolphin.gi . Below are photographs from the trip.

The Explorers and Leaders explorer the rock walking up and down it. On the way we came across the ice cream eating ape, who blantantly stole Peter’s Ice Cream opened it up and eat it.

The Explorers viewed some amazing views from the top of the Rock, below is one, we’ll post more later.

We viewed some of the Guns which have defended Gibraltar in the past. This is at Devils Gap Battery constructed in 1902.

The Explorers and Leaders who enjoyed the view out to Morroco from Gibraltar.
